The purpose of visual aids, graphs, charts, and images are to enhance the overall research poster and to supplement the information presented. It is important to keep a good balance between text and visuals. Too much text can greatly reduce the effectiveness of the poster.

Try not to use too many colors and be sure have the colors complement each other. For more color palettes, search online for color palettes. However, try to stick to 2-3 main colors last

Only use up to 2 different typefaces, however for the different styles within a typeface you be used appropriately. In addition to style, be aware of size usage and stay consistent with sizes.

Quick Tip for Searching Images

Google Images > Tools > Size: Large (Medium if you are unable to find anything) > Color: Transparent The transparent color is great to use when searching for logos.
